  1. It's killing him. Bill has a public forum but can't let his Trump freak-flag fly. But if he could, he knows, HE KNOWS there are others like Dianne who would come out of the woodwork to RESIST!!!

  2. Based on facts in the public domain,** I am of the opinion that bill has defrauded the government for the last few years. His everyday actions just provide more proof.

**Many of these facts are sworn under oath in court filings.

  3. And since Paul brings it up; speaking of reporters:

Intellectual exercise. No promises. But- If anybody wanted to write a LEGIT and FACTUALLY ACCURATE account of who Bill Mathews Schmalfeldt of KGYN is… How would they go about it? Needs us some timelines and detail. Talking honest reporting here. Won’t be a smear-piece. Journalism 101: The facts and nothing but the facts.

This is a OUTLINE for a article which could be legitimately run in any newspaper. Would welcome any and all of your suggestions for modifying this outline. Let me know what I’ve missed and/or that I should add/subtract.

Crowdsourcing having a quality all its own I’m specially requesting any or all of you to provide the following:

    - Schmalfeldt quote supporting Brett KIimberlin. Yeah, I know the words, “If you people would just quit…” but I need the date and source. Twitter? Nah, it was one of his blogs. I’ll try and explain Brett Kimberlin in a separate paragraph. Or three.

    - Left wing blogs abandon Bill… References or quotes?
    Anal rape.
    Cub Scouts.
General misogyny (he doesn't like dealing with combative females who won't bend the knee).

    - Multiple personalities. At one time I composed a spreadsheet documenting 140+ Schmalfeldt IDs. Lost it, somewhere. Anybody have anything showing EVEN a incomplete list?

    - Parkinsons.

What year did he leave his Gov’t job?
Quotes indicating it would never get better. Attribution, if possible, from his own blog(s).
Dates and locations, to the extent we know them, on his cross-country travels over the last 2 years.

    - Anybody know the dates for submission of LOLSuits One through Eight? Anybody got a one sentence summary of each LOLSuit Schmalfeldt submitted? And verdicts for same?

    - Anti-capitalism, Pro-Progressiveism, Anti-Trump comments.

    - Employment.

    - Schmalfeldts’ references to lost job opportunities over the last two years.

I've seen all of this, over the years, in multiple different places. My hope is that y'all, collectively, have the material and references at your fingertips available for cut-and-paste.

    1. make sure and compare when he started the government job and when he went on disability and then when he left. he always tries to make it sound like he had a long career there, but it was his usual short interval until people saw the real him … and did whatever they had to to get rid of him.

    2. I've been saying, for years now, that someone needs to hire an intern from a university Abnormal Psychology program to crawl the vault and build a database of every one of BS' tweets and Twitter handles, lawsuits, web posts and comments, and transcriptions of his podcasts. And whatever else seems pertinent.

  6. Here is an interesting 2 for 1 link. You get to see his work of "fiction" that talks about crapping on the floor and as a bonus the description of the author has key dates outlining his fakinsons.

I joined the party after he lies about storming Lebanon, but his DD-214 is public and his stolen valor is clear when you compare what he wears on the price is right to reality.

  7. w...Almost all for what you ask is in the vault.

For example, the quote about “If you people would just quit…” is a tweet from a deleted Twitter account. Because it was deleted, all we have is our "vault" backup. Here is the link to a picture of the backed up tweet: https://popehat.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/08/ForgetKimberlin.jpg

This picture comes from the famous Popehat article, "True Threats, True Incitement, Or Truly Crazy? The Rhetoric of Deranged Cyberstalker Bill Schmalfeldt", found here: https://www.popehat.com/2013/08/06/true-threats-true-incitement-or-truly-crazy-the-rhetoric-of-deranged-cyberstalker-bill-schmalfeldt/

However, because you ask for so much info, I doubt anyone will have the time to troll the vault for all of it. I'll end with a link to Mr. Hoge's summary of Schmalfeldt's law suit filings, the links to the court exhibits, submitted by Schmalfeldt himself, of Schmalfeldt's "comedy" writings, and the case docket link for same.

    1. Ohmigosh. popcornseller, sir- So much linky goodness.

Even though I've been watching The Schmalfeldt Saga for years I clearly lost sight of what all this guy has done. And how. You've provided a trip down memory lane that has provided insight and perspective. No way can I be comprehensive. The challenge will be in writing something succinct enough that it's understandable.

And for all the rest of youse: Our fave Progressive has missed out on two (or was it three?) jobs in the last year and a half. Got fired from the radio station in Iowa, right? And weren't there two more he alluded to? Anybody recall the details? This provides 'the hook' in the article.

      1. You're missing the big picture. How many restraining orders/no contact/no stalking/harassment prevention orders has Bill Schmalfeldt received? 15? I've lost count. But I know one was for being a TODDLERSTALKER!

How about what he did to the Stranahans? The doxing of many innocent strangers? The threats and harassment of employers and families?

How about the fake Parkinson's disease, the fake medals and stolen valor, his fake SSI disability, the court filed defamation claim that it was untrue that he raped someone - a claim he dismissed with prejudice*, not to mention his vile misogyny, antisemitism, and open racism.

Looking at all of that, and I was just getting started, his lying, coprophilia obsession, goldbricking, cowardice and membership in Team Kimberlin almost seem trivial by comparison.

        * When a lawsuit is dismissed with prejudice, the court is saying that it has made a final determination on the merits of the case. Link: https://www.law.cornell.edu/wex/dismissal_with_prejudice

        1. 9 restraining orders in 6 states. I researched it.

The big picture is too big.

But my first draft is ready.

          Like(1)Dislike(0)
        2. Your research is faulty. Some of the restraining orders were renewed. Some were for multiple people. He is easily in double digits. It's been counted by others.

If you got this wrong, I would double check your facts before you print your draft.

          Like(1)Dislike(0)
        3. Coupla' things- 9 in 6 is what I can find documented. I'm open to revision. Suppose I could add 'at least' to cover my ass but that seems a bit imprecise. I called Bob Woodward for guidance but apparently he goes to bed early. Let's see if any of the other Lickspittles offers a different count.

I can't figure out how to get the Parkinsons angle in. Part of that is because I think Schmalfeldt really did believe he was afflicted over all these years. Seems to me nobody would casually seek a set of cranial dick dents. Only now, over the last year or so, has his improving health hit Bill in the face so squarely that he may be reconsidering his diagnosis.

I'm considering lighting off a Doom Clock because I'm worried about karmic backblast. OTOH, gosh does he deserve what's likely coming. I'm specifically asking Krendler to provide Bill a forum over the next day or so. I don't know if I'm looking for penitence, apology, some level of understanding or what- I'm not the person or persons Schmalfeldt has wronged.

I view with concern my moving from good-natured (and modestly clever, if I do say so myself) commenter to active participant. Karma aside, Brett Kimberlin worries me far more than Bill Schmalfeldt. And I've taunted Brett enough. Even so, don't sue me Brett.

        4. Look, I don't want to be a bother. I just want you to get it right. I'm not the best source for this, but this is what I know:

Mr. Hoge got one and had it renewed. That's 2
The Causeys got at least 2
          Patrick Grady got one
Lynn Thomas got 3 (herself and her parents)
agiledog got one and I think he had it renewed at least once. That's at least 2
Ashterah got 2 for herself (one a renewal?) and one for her grandson. That's 3.

That's a total of at least 13 from 5 different states. There are probably more.

  8. Need some help from the studio audience.

Was it 'thumptrumpradio' or 'trumpthumpradio'? I forget. And, of course, can no longer find it.

Also, would it be FACTUALLY CORRECT to say, "Over the last year, you lost a job at a Iowa radio station and was turned down for two other employment opportunities once prospective employers researched who you are. What do you do?"

    Like(1)Dislike(0)
    1. “Based on your own posts and photos, a reasonable observer can conclude that you interviewed for jobs in Texas and New Mexico but received no offers after failing background checks. A job offer in Iowa was rescinded after the station was persuaded to perform additional due diligence.”

  9. I agonized over this one and held it for a day. What pushed me over was Schmalfeldts' latest tweet today regarding a Manafort pardon. I'm not a rabid Trump supporter, the man is seriously flawed, but I do like his policies. I resent that Bill Mathews Schmalfeldt is using KGYN as a forum for propagating a perspective I despise. Yeah, yeah he can say whatever he wants. BUT. If he wanted to SOLEY dedicate his time remaining to rebuilding his life Bill Schmalfeldt would stay away from the fire. No Judgement No Peace.

I suggest anywhere Schmalfeldt goes/surfaces a factual article in the local press would be appropriate. People should know who they're dealing with. Facts only. No conjecture. No ad hominem. I've tried to draft same and submit to all of you for revision as you see appropriate.

Nope. I didn't bring up Parkinsons. I, now, honestly believe Bill thought he was legitimately afflicted. If he's honest with himself Schmalfeldt would compare his mobility and quality of life NOW vs. 2 years ago. If he's smart, Schmalfeldt would go for a quarter-mile walk every morning and every early evening; he'd feel 300% better.

Schmalfeldt's life is worthy of a book. I did not try and document every transgression and asshole-thing he's done. Signal, noise, ratio and all that. Remember, goal is to make Bill Mathews Schmalfeldt easily understandable to people like April Coble (@aprilcoblegdh).

I hereby and formally relinquish any and everything I've ever written on the internet to anybody who wants same. You are free to modify, copy or quote without limit. Movie rights for anything I've written, especially the B-17 and Device-Conspiracy episodes are NOT included. I retain movie rights for everything I've written but I await anxiously for any of you to contact me regarding same.

Local reportage for local reporters and/or editorial boards. Having said all that... Hold my Diet Coke.

Imagine, for a moment, you’re looking for a job but-

You’re a vicious internet troll who publishes personal information including names, photos, addresses, and phone numbers for people you dislike. On the internet. You contact family members and employers seeking to discredit and/or inflict harm on those you dislike. Because you harass people you’ve racked up 9 restraining orders in 6 different states. Depending on how you count renewals that number goes to 13 restraining orders. Against you. Over the last three years you’ve filed 8 different lawsuits in multiple jurisdictions against multiple people. None of the lawsuits you’ve filed have succeeded.

You’ve created, and mostly walked away from 200+ internet identities including twitter accounts, email accounts, blogs, websites and internet radio stations. What kind of person would create 200+ identities? You have been banned from writing for and/or contributing comments to multiple websites including Daily Kos and the Examiner. You were banned from Daily Kos for writing glibly about anal rape and you produced parodies about homosexual sex with Boy Scouts in a different venue.

You are friends with, and publicly defended, Brett Kimberlin ‘The Speedway Bomber’ (political activist, drug dealer, domestic terrorist, pro se litigant) convicted of setting off multiple bombs in Indiana in 1978. Yes, the same Brett Kimberlin who claimed to have sold marijuana to Dan Quayle. After serving 17 years in federal penitentiaries over 2 separate stints Brett Kimberlin was released in 2001 and you publicly call him your 'most excellent friend'.

You love progressive politics. Your dream job is to have a public forum so you can broadcast your liberal political views and thus your dabbling with multiple doityourself internet radio channels; the last was trumpthumpradio. None of which attracted an audience. But even so, you want very much to get a on-air job with a public radio station.

Problem is, you are somewhat famous. You’ve attracted enough attention that you are much documented as well as having built a personal following nationwide consisting of people you’ve either wronged or who disapprove of your tactics. You are a ‘public person’.

Based on your own posts and photos, a reasonable observer can conclude that you interviewed for jobs in Texas and New Mexico but received no offers after failing background checks. A job offer in Iowa was rescinded after the station was persuaded to perform additional due diligence. What do you do?

If you are William ‘Bill’ Mathews Schmalfeldt Sr. you change your name to Bill Mathews. On the employment application, at least… That will thwart a cursory background check.

That gets you a job at radio KGYN in Guymon, OK. It’s a start. For the first couple of weeks you were even able to stay away from politics. But discussing politics is really what you want to do. You can’t help yourself any more than you can stop yourself from attacking others you believe have wronged you. Your KGYN-branded twitter account at https://twitter.com/billmathewskgyn is becoming increasingly more political. Your full blown Trump Derangement Syndrome will manifest itself in time but that’s ok. Everybody should have a hobby. A true love.

Meanwhile. Bill Mathews Schmalfeldt shows how the internet can document personal failings and flaws in what has become the panopticon we all now live in. Take heed. Be careful on the net.

  10. While Bill Schmalfeldt (Bill Mathews of KGYN Guymon OK) has done a lot of foul things in his life the one that, to me, stands out the most is when one of Bill's friends posted on the internet that a reporter she didn't like was out of town and people should go to his house and rape his wife, Bill posted the man's address AND a video walk through of the house taken from a real estate site. Then tried to tell everyone he wasn't encouraging the woman's rape. That was a piece of shit move, he knows it and I hope that piece of information is found by everyone he ever comes in contact with.

  12. OK, this is a picky comment on what you wrote.

"Remember, goal is to make Bill Mathews Schmalfeldt easily understandable..."

99% of what you wrote does that. The word 'panopticon' does not.

I also agree with TOLF's comment above, which was not covered in your piece.

    1. Also, the sentence "None of the lawsuits you’ve filed have succeeded." is not definitive enough. Saying they have not succeeded implies the defendants were put on trial and evidence presented, but the plaintiff failed to get a decision in his favor. They, the defendants, were never put on trial. His LOLsuits were so laughable and without merit that none of them got past a motion to dismiss.

      Like(1)Dislike(0)
      1. I agree with you. Help me re-write that part. Many thanks, popcornseller, for your constructive comments.

        1. I'm not very good at this, but here's my suggestion.

Change: "None of the lawsuits you’ve filed have succeeded."

To: "The lawsuits you filed were so completely without merit that none of them got past a motion to dismiss and all of them failed."

          Like(0)Dislike(0)
    2. I think my ending is weak. The 'panopticon' angle is my attempt to make folks understand that Schmalfeldt's ass-holery, which formerly wouldn't have been anything more than local, is now through the magic of the internet noticeable by a much wider audience. And that there's a cost. Schmalfeldt, Kimberlin, Rahauser and the rest are now 'public persons' in a way that wouldn't have been possible 10 or so years ago.

Regarding the CPS thing- Yeah I didn't include that because I either didn't know or didn't remember. Recall my saying the big picture is too big. But yeah, I agree with you that needs to be put in.

Guys- And gals, too- We can collectively re-write this thing to make it better. Have at it. And I'm, also, open to your suggestions. My original goal was to be succinct in explaining who Bill Mathews is. I wanted to, and have AFAIK, be entirely factual and nothing but. I don't want anything to be re-butted by Schmalfeldt and I ensure that by sticking only to his past undeniable actions.

Recall I indicated I agonized over releasing this thing? That's because if a succinct accounting follows Schmalfeldt to any market he goes to he'll likely be unemployable. But know this: Reading the Stranahan links today over at billysez removed any scintilla of remorse or doubt I had. The way Bill Schmalfeldt treated the Stranahan family is beyond the pale. And yep, I know others among you have experienced the same kind of treatment.

So if Bill Mathews gets followed and made uncomfortable by his history know that's for you gentle people also. Evil should be called out. Hold my Diet Coke.

      Like(1)Dislike(0)
      1. I think this is a good start. I understand what you are trying to say with the panopticon comment at the end, but I think this introduces another perspective that allows the editor & reader to go off in a different direction (the internet and how it connects people vs identifying/broadcasting the actions of a deranged cyberstalker). Although that angle is interesting for other reasons, the focus should remain on Schmalfeldt and detailing his actions and activities.

To strengthen the ending, I suggest you focus on his most vile behavior to drive home the evil nature of his condition if left undisturbed to himself.

        Like(0)Dislike(0)
      2. You might also want to include at the end or as a postscript a short list of the best links and references for those that wish to learn more about what Schmalfeldt has done.

        Like(0)Dislike(0)
        1. I'll just say again that the big picture is too big. Too many links because of too many incidences. We need to crowdsource for a Greatest Hits list of links.

          Like(0)Dislike(0)
        2. We don't need to link everything. I was thinking of just a few. The Popehat article, the McCain article and the Stranahan article would be enough to paint a good picture and you could state that these links are just a start.

          Like(0)Dislike(0)
      3. People should also be warned about how he hides his true nature behind his obsequious, submissive I'm-on-your-side facade. This facade fools "fellow travelers" when they first meet him, making it harder for them to believe the truth.

  14. Latest draft with substantial changes:

Imagine, for a moment, you’re looking for a job but-

You’re a vicious internet troll who publishes personal information including names, photos, addresses, and phone numbers for people you dislike. On the internet. For multiple people. You contact family members and employers seeking to discredit and/or inflict harm on those you dislike. Additionally, you contact local police, District Attorneys, the FBI and child protective services in efforts to cause pain for those you don’t like.

Because you harass people you’re constrained by 9 restraining orders in 6 different states. Depending on how you count renewals that number goes to 13 restraining orders. Against you. State courts ORDER you to cease and desist contacting multiple people.

Over the last three years you’ve filed 8 different lawsuits in multiple jurisdictions against multiple people. None of the lawsuits you’ve filed have succeeded. No lawsuit you’ve ever filed has made it to trial. All were either quashed by the courts or withdrawn by yourself once you saw that your litigious efforts exposed you to personal liability.

You are friends with, and publicly defended, Brett Kimberlin ‘The Speedway Bomber’ (political activist, drug dealer, domestic terrorist, jailhouse lawyer) convicted of setting off multiple bombs in Indiana in 1978. That gets you a job at radio KGYN in Guymon, Oklahoma. It’s a start.

However. KGYN and its audience, should be exactly aware of what kind of person you are.

Bill Mathews Schmalfeldt always initiates contact with new people by appearing to be exceptionally reasonable and non-threatening. But over time his behavior escalates, at first into smoothly oleaginous ‘suggestions’ that you modify your behavior, and then demands and then unwanted contact of people and organizations around you sometimes culminating in personal lawsuits.

  15. Ok, coupla' more things...

First off, "Hold my Diet Coke."

I'm thinking about a minor rewrite to change the 'you this and you that' perspective to 'Bill Schmalfeldt has blah blah.' But maybe not.

I don't THINK there's any writing titled 'Who is Bill Mathews Schmalfeldt?' that would show up so very neatly in a google search. Would be deeply cool if somebody/anybody cut-and-pasted my work in a standalone piece with that title. That way a simple URL could be included in any retweet(s) to people he deals with/references.

Maybe 'Who is Bill Mathews Schmalfeldt?' is worthy of any number of sidebars. If you want it you can have it. I myself can't be bothered with setting up yet another dedicated website to Schmalfeldt Infamy.

And finally, as I've mentioned before, there's no way I could write up every egregious thing Bill has done over the years. Not only is the boy consistently outrageous in the way he treats others but the sheer volume of Schmalfeldts' work is staggering. He truly loves what it is he does. I can think of no other explanation.

I've tried hard to be completely, irrefutably factual. If Schmalfeldt deigns to respond to this I hope Paul will let him on TMZ. C'mon Bill. You know you want to.

Every time I read something I've written I see how to improve it. Two changes.

    1. Title should be "Who is Bill Schmalfeldt?" Let's delete 'Mathews'

    2. Replace 'Infamy' with 'Calumny'
