      1. She wanted his love. He couldn't stop fighting a war he couldn't win.

And at the same time, he posted her slow death in excruciating detail. Even on the day she died, he devote his entire being to her.

    1. Mr. Overshare thinks he's doing a service for others. Except no one reads it because he keeps killing them off. I think he believes there are troves of followers, but no one has been able to verify outside of pretendy land.

      1. Yes, supposedly Gail wanted him to share every gruesome detail of her condition, and yet he honored her wishes by deleting all of those blogs. A real fucking prince he is.

      1. I remain hopeful that her last thought was something like this:

    2. Roger Ebert's passing from cancer was doubly terrible due to how it robbed him of his capability to speak or eat solids (he lost most of his jaw).

He did have a picture taken of himself, long after surgery (but obviously prior to his demise), and while it's disturbing, it's notable that it was HIS idea.

I wonder if Gail had any say in the matter.

(Incidentially, the picture is surprising because Roger looks... oddly serene. I guess he had come to terms with his life ending. His passing was extremely peaceful by all accounts. It makes me wonder if some of us gain a small measure of grace in our lives, and the ability, as Aragorn put it in the Lord of the Rings appendices, to 'give back the gift'.)

  2. My deranged Stalker the phony Rev Sutter turned out to be an abuser, his wife now celebrates his the day he died as her freedom day and goes out to eat on the anniversary of his heart attack. I suspect Bill's relationship with his wife wasn't so much different.
