  1. It's a sad day, I feel like a small part of my childhood has died. I grew up watching, Rowdy Roddy Pipper, Jake the Snake, Hacksaw Jim Duggin, and all the other wrestlers of that era fight it out on Saturday mornings. It was good, clean, father and son entertainment and was full of really good guys who would spend hours after their matches, signing autographs for kids. It was much different then today's wrestling, that could almost carry an R rating, and is full of gigantic douchebags who act like they're movie stars or something. I hope he's resting in peace.

  2. Bummer. I never saw him in the ring or anything, but I did see that kick ass movie he was in. They Live is where words like "epic" and "oscar worthy" come from.

  3. I remember watching him on "Piper's Pit" smacking Jimmy Snuka upside the head with a real coconut. This guy could wrestle, cut a promo like nobody else, and bring heel/face heat to ANY match.

    And "They Live?"

    Absolute classic.

RIP Rowdy One. You will be missed.
